ADVANCED IMMUNOASSAY SYSTEM

PSI completed multiple projects for an advanced blood analyzer system, enhancing its operation as desired by the manufacturer, a global leader in medical device manufacturing. The diagnostic system is a bench top immunoassay analyzer used in hospital laboratories. The device’s manufacturer partnered with PSI to develop a CAN communication system to aid in the manufacturing and testing of the blood analyzer instrument sub-components. The system provides manufacturing with direct control of individual hardware components and a low overhead solution for exercising and diagnosing sub-assemblies in an isolated environment. PSI also created a system to simulate the real-time operation of the system’s hardware components. The diagnostic system provides a compilation type environment to exercise each component of the blood analyzer, thus supporting over 2500 variations of commands and equipment.
