PSI Summer Picnic
On Friday, July 20th, PSI celebrated the first half of 2018 with a picnic. We closed down the office at noon to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with food, drinks, and games. Tim and Stas took over the kitchen to prepare an abundance of food. The most notable food of choice was the ever-popular steak, cooked to perfection in a sous vide water bath then grilled to complete the process. This year, most of the office participated in a corn hole tournament. We randomly paired each team and created a bracket with random matches to determine which team would be the ultimate winner. The final game came down to Walt and Rightley versus Dave and Jordan, with the latter taking the win!
After the corn hole tournament we switched gears from outdoor activities and christened our newest conference room ‘Linux’ with an Overwatch party. The veteran players set up a network of machines to teach the newcomers how to play. Once everyone got the hang of the game and graduated from the tutorial, we divided into two teams and played a few competitive matches.
Overall, it was a really fun afternoon bonding with all of our co-workers. Thank you Walt and Sue for continually ensuring our work culture is unlike any other!
Take a look through the album below to see all of the fun we had!
